Sam Harvey Was Here

POWR hosted Aspen-based ceramic artist Sam Harvey this past weekend for a hands-on workshop. After a free lecture Friday evening about his work and career, Sam gave hands-on instruction on his methods of clay coiling techniques for making colorful and engaging sculptures and functional objects. POWR awarded two scholarships to Lander Valley High School students to attend the workshop. Thank you, Sam! Here are a few pictures from the event.
