Monika Andrews

I moved to Lander, WY in 2018, following the dream of a slower paced lifestyle in a neighborly community where I can focus on my artwork. My pottery skills were honed in Santa Cruz, California - studying under an unusual but talented potter, Mattie Leeds. He taught me to "go big" with my work and mentored me to paint with the Chinese brush.

Lately, I have drawn my inspiration from the natural beauty of the mountain flora and fauna. My abstractions are grounded in reality, yet only exist together in the realm of imagination.
